Katia Boceta,

Pedagogue de La Rueda - multilingual kindergarten

"Children are my passion! Working with them has helped me to better understand the values of life. My role as an educator is to guide them towards concrete objectives (conceptual, attitudinal and procedural), fundamental in the first years of development; Although they are our true teachers, children observe the world with purity and spontaneity, teaching us every day about the value of gratitude and generosity.

I consider it essential to promote autonomy and creativity in them from an early age, while reinforcing cooperation and respect for the other through play. "

Vocational training

Spanish and kindergarten teacher, kindergarten monitor

In 2001 I graduated as "Primary Education Teacher" in my homeland. I worked for several years in different public schools in my country, with children aged between 3 and 12 years.

In 2007 I emigrated to Naples, Italy, where I formed a family and where my two kids Emanuele and Maria Pia were born, who are currently 5 and 8 years old.

There I dedicated myself to teaching Spanish as a foreign language to children and young people, collaborating at the same time in different volunteer foundations for the welfare of the little ones.

Since 2015 I live in Vienna. I come from a mixed family, Austrian mother, Uruguayan father; and for this reason I feel partly deeply rooted in this beautiful country.

In May 2018 I finished my training as "Kindergruppe-Betreuerin / Tagesmutter". I had the great opportunity to practice my studies at "La Rueda", where I felt from the first day in a great family, with an excellent team, both professionally and humanely. Where there is a close collaboration between parents and professionals. Where the child is respected and valued from his individuality.

I am very happy to be part of this institution.
