Working in a Kindergruppe

The association Großes Schiff - member of the association of Vienna Children's Groups - is looking for a caregiver for our new German-speaking kindergartens from around September 2024.

Training in pre-school education (Ausbildung / VET)

Interest in long-term cooperation.

Enjoy working with children with joy and full attention.

Basic command of English and interest in Spanish.

Flexibility and interest in working in an intercultural environment.

We offer

Part-time employment (30 hours), gross income in the 3rd year of service for carers (with full training): 2.242,79€ (~18,21€/hour)
A creatively exciting field of intercultural activity.
Extremely good supervision ratio (at least 2 supervisors for 14 children).

coworking office

Work, live and coexist in one place. This is the objective pursued by the project Die Hauswirtschaft and explains the presence of our kindergartens in the building, as well as a new coworking office for the Grosses Schiff association. Some of our pedagogic team members are even moving to this area!

A new beginning

Right on the doorstep of the Augarten, our children's groups have a green pedagogical approach in contact with nature. Both groups also have indoor playgrounds, so there is always the possibility to move around and enjoy the fresh air. It's healthy for caregivers and children!
